Company History

Protech Design started as a sole trading business on 1st April 1992 and the business was incorporated as a Limited Liability company in October 1998. In this time we have completed in excess of 1100 projects. The focus of the company was primarily to provide fire sprinkler design services to fire protection contracting companies, but our focus changed in 2000 to provide consulting designs directly to developers, construction companies and building owners.

The growth of the company has been steady, and the office is equipped with a high spec computers running computer aided draughting software to assist with engineering design and project management. Protech Design has recently invested in new 3D fire protection modelling software, to improve both efficiency and accuracy in work produced. The program is the first of its type to be used in New Zealand.

Protech Design has grown from a small business to the largest fire protection design office in the country. With a main office in Auckland, Protech Design has recently expanded to the South Island with an office in Blenheim to better meet the needs of clients throughout New Zealand.

Fire protection is Protech Design's focus and they are proud to be at the top of their field covering sprinkler systems, alarm systems, special hazards, building hydrant systems and fire equipment.

The emphasis of the work Protech Design undertakes is to provide clients with an economical and practical solution, capable of being constructed on site.
